Whilst we play the game strictly according to the rules, we were all wondering why after selecting your wheel, you are compelled you to place your worker on the lowest available action space? It just seems that if you are able and willing to pay the extra food costs, why not enter the wheel on the space of your choice? It might provide an interesting set of decisions, particularly towards the end of the game, where perhaps you need to access a particular set of actions on your final few turns.

We did this in our first game (having failed to notice the rule). It's playable but probably makes Uxmal too powerful (someone will probably be using step 5 each turn)
