I really enjoy this disincentive to grab the First Player token when you already have it, and it's a new twist that should be viewed as a positive.
Actually, that's not necessarily a disincentive. If you are corn-rich, you would like to be going last in the round so that you can pay extra corn for better wheel placements. (And hey, when you take the start player space, you get corn, making you more corn-rich.)
