I taught Tzolk'in tonight and a rules question argument came up:

One player had advanced all the way to the 3rd tier of the top tech track (the one that gives food bonuses). At one point he took the action that lets you move up on the tech board - two times on one track or one time each on two tracks. He declared that he was going to move up twice on the top track, paid 2 resources and moved up on two temple tracks. One player at the table immediately assumed this was illegal and pitched a fit. I couldn't find it covered specifically in the rules, so I called it legal and moved on (with lots of grumbling from the dissenter).

So is this legal? Did I miss it in the rules?
