When I first heard about Tzolkin, I didn't think it would be FUN. I wasn't really listening when he told me about it. Just blahs...and more blahs. I was actually praying for his blahs to end.And then last week, the box full of board games arrived. Tzolkin was there.
Being the supportive girlfriend...well, I agreed to a game session on a Black Saturday. We are in one with the world in celebrating tabletopday BTW.
We played some other games before Tzolkin. And then it was Tzolkin's turn. The rules make me sleepy. I was about to quit but the 3 boys I played with kept bullying me. I hate it when people questioned my capacity. It challenges me. So there...I had my first game...and WON! Proving myself capable. Ahahaha! :devil:
But then it wasn't enough. The rematch took away my glory. I lost. Played some more...and lost again. It's frustrating but I don't wanna stop. Because I wonder what happens to my acquired understanding. Oh well, it's maybe just beginner's luck. But I still wanna play some more to fully understand the game...and to WIN again. :gulp:
Every time I play, I just can't do everything I wanted. I had so much plans but I can't seem to put things together. Waaaaaaaah!
All you tzolkin fanatics out there...any advise?!
