After noting this mysterious, unsightly mark, I thought "Well, that section of my original board was undamaged... maybe I'll see if the art lines up okay if I use that part of my original and the rest of the replacement." And it did. However, apparently some boards have a glossy finish, and some have a matte finish. My original board is glossy, the replacement matte. So yeah, that doesn't work. But I really don't feel like hassling RGG for a SECOND replacement board (plus waiting another week or so for it, assuming they're willing to give me one) so now I'm doing what I originally considering doing: seeing if I can repair my original board effectively. If not, I guess I'll use a board with a damn pen mark on it.↧
