I've held off painting mine because my painting skills are non-existent, but this seems like it might be doable. Do you have any advice about using these?
How do these pens work? Does the paint well up like a droplet and spread when you apply it? Or do you have to touch every spot with the pen? The former might be easier for painting the nooks and crannies but harder if you wanted to highlight specific symbols. Did you try that by the way?
Wow, sorry. I did not even see this post before. I have no artistic skills at all. Once the paint is flowing (you press the tip in many, many times) they mostly just work like pens. Every so often I'd press the tip in (on a piece of paper) when it seemed the flow was a little light. You'll have to touch pretty much every spot. If you look closely, the numbers are in red (also paint pen) and the arrows are gold. These were done after covering everything silver and letting it dry. However, the new paint dissolved the old so I kept wiping it off on scrap paper. Honestly, if I can do this, most anyone can.
