That price, I never know until I get there myself. Once the final rules are done and dusted (normally 3 days before Essen), it goes into radio silence mode for me whilst I let the CGE crowd rush around Prague getting everything finalised and getting to Essen on time.Judging by their previous releases, and comparing quantity and quality of components to other games that game out in similar years, I'm hoping for a good price. Dungeon Lords / Dungeon Petz for example - loads and loads of bits, a full box of goodies, but still the price was the same as a number of other games in those years that didnt have half the components.
But this game is different. They've never made anything like the gears before, and I've no idea how much they are to produce, so yes, the price tag could be a bit higher than normal because of it. I've also no idea what components they are going to use for the resources, apart from the crystal skulls which I have seen and they look pretty cool.
