I have the opportunity to pick up a copy of Tzolk'in: The Mayan Calendar but I am hesitant because of how new it is. So I am posing this question for owners of the game that have played it a fair amount, is this as good as the hype, and do you think it will stand the test of time in terms of repeated plays? I do not get a chance to buy games very often and have limited windows to play them (generally a euro needs to be 90 minutes or less to be able to make it to the table more than once or twice), therefore I try to be very careful with my purchases. I think the gear mechanic looks fascinating, I'm just concerned that after 10-20 plays I will have the "been there, done that" feeling. Would you recommend this over something like Agricola, which has near infinite replayability due to all the expansions?↧
